Blue Jays giving Justin Smoak the night off in Milwaukee
Toronto Blue Jays first baseman Justin Smoak is not in the lineup Tuesday.
The Blue Jays are on the road to face the Milwaukee Brewers and won't have the luxury of a designated hitter under National League rules, prompting the benching of Smoak to have designated hitter Kendrys Morales play at first base on Tuesday.
Morales is batting .244/.297/.419 with a .307 wOBA in 172 plate appearances. He has 7 home runs, 23 RBI's, and 19 runs scored this season.
