Rangers drop Delino DeShields to ninth in the batting order
The Texas Rangers have moved outfielder Delino DeShields to ninth in the batting order on Tuesday.
The speedy DeShields has led off in over half his games played, including two of the three games in this past weekend's series with the Detroit Tigers. The lineup drop will limit his value in fantasy if it continues to hold. Shin-Soo Choo is at the top of the lineup Tuesday versus the Boston Red Sox and Rick Porcello.
Choo is hitting .362 with a .928 OPS in 36 plate appearances as the leadoff man. DeShields is hitting a respectable .281 in 35 plate appearances as the nine-hole hitter.
