Rays' Steven Souza getting a breather versus Angels
Tampa Bay Rays outfielder Steven Souza is not in the lineup Monday.
What It Means:
Souza has started the last eight games and is getting a much needed day of rest Monday as Colby Rasmus is in right field and batting sixth versus J.C. Ramirez and the Los Angeles Angels.
Rasmus is 0-for-3 with two strikeouts versus Ramirez in his career and is batting just .217 with three home runs and eight RBI's in 52 plate appearances versus right-handed pitching this season.
