Rockies' Greg Holland picks up his MLB-leading 19th save
Colorado Rockies relief pitcher Greg Holland tallied his 19th save of the season in Sunday's' 6-4 win over the Cincinnati Reds.
Holland walked the first batter he faced, then sat down the next three hitters in order, two by strikeout. The former Kansas City Royal is now 19-for-19 in save opportunities and allowed just two runs and nine hits in 20 appearances this season.
Holland has a 0.96 ERA, 0.80 WHIP, and 26 strikeouts (19.4 percent) in 18 2/3 innings pitched.
