The Arizona Diamondbacks placed starting pitcher Taijuan Walker on the 10-day disabled list, retroactive to May 20, with a blister on his right index finger.
The blister formed during Walker's last start on Friday and is considered to be minor. Arizona is hoping the 24-year-old will miss just one start. Now word yet on who will make Walker's next scheduled start on Wednesday.
Walker owns a 4.14 SIERA with a 1.29 WHIP, and 20.6 percent strikeout rate in 52 innings pitched this season.
