Toronto's Francisco Liriano will throw live batting practice Tuesday
Toronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Francisco Liriano (shoulder) is slated to throw live batting practice Tuesday.
Liriano threw a good bullpen session on Sunday, which cleared the way for him to face live hitters. If he doesn't have any setbacks on Tuesday, he should start a rehab assignment within the next week. He could rejoin the Jays' rotation in June.
Over 28.1 innings pitched in 2017, Liriano has a 6.35 ERA and 5.27 SIERRA with a 21.6 strikeout rate.
