Phillies' Aaron Nola (back) activated for Sunday start
The Philadelphia Phillies activated starting pitcher Aaron Nola from the 10-day disabled list.
Nola will start Sunday against the Pittsburgh Pirates. He took longer than expected to recover from a lower back strain but tossed 6 1/3 shutout frames in his last rehab start and is worth playing against a struggling Pirates offense.
Nola holds a 4.50 ERA, 21.7 percent strikeout rate, and 8.7 percent walk rate in 16 innings pitched this year.
