Yasiel Puig removed from Dodgers game with back tightness
Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Yasiel Puig was removed from Friday's game against the Miami Marlins due to tightness in his back.
Puig initially felt tightness in his back during batting practice and it progressed throughout the game. While the dynamic outfielder has his sights set on returning to the lineup this weekend, the Dodgers' may be best served holding him out for a game or two just in case.
In 168 plate appearances this year, Puig has hit .243 with 8 home runs, 21 runs, 24 RBI's, a .753 OPS, and .328 wOBA.
