Cubs' Eddie Butler goes just three innings in Friday's start
Chicago Cubs starting pitcher Eddie Butler last just three innings in Friday's start against the Milwaukee Brewers, surrendering two runs on three hits and five walks.
The right-hander struck out three on the afternoon. Given his struggles with command, he was fortunate to escape with only two runs allowed in this one. He starts again Wednesday against the San Francisco Giants.
Butler carries a 2.00 ERA, 20.0 percent strikeout rate, and 20.0 percent walk rate in 9 major-league innings pitched.
