Houston Astros catcher Evan Gattis is not in the lineup Friday versus the Cleveland Indians.
Gattis is getting the night off while lefty-singing Brian McCann starts behind the plate and bats sixth against Trevor Bauer and the Indians on Friday.
McCann is batting slightly worse against righties this season, than lefties, posting a .268 average with a .761 OPS in 97 plate appearances against right-handers. He is hitting .304 with a 1.099 OPS in 25 plate appearances versus southpaws.
