Cubs to activate Jason Heyward (finger) on Saturday
Chicago Cubs outfielder Jason Heyward (finger) will be activated from the disabled list on Saturday.
Heyward made it through a minor league rehab game on Thursday, and while he's not eligible to be activated until Saturday, he appears to be fully healthy and ready to go. There's still no word on who will be sent down to make room for him.
Heyward was batting .253/.333/.364 with three home runs and 17 RBI's in 111 plate appearances before the injury.
