Chicago White Sox shortstop Tim Anderson went 3-for-4 with a double and a game-tying eighth-inning solo home run in Thursday's 5-4 loss to the Seattle Mariners.
Anderson had another fine day at the plate and his solo shot with two outs in the eighth tied the game at 4-4. However, the Mariners ended the game with a walk-off single in the ninth. Even though Anderson has been shaky at the plate this season, he has started to come alive as Thursday marked his fourth consecutive multi-hit game.
Anderson is slashing .254/.281/.388 with a .289 wOBA over 140 plate appearances this season. Our models project him to post a .276 average with eight homers, 35 RBI's and 11 steals over 366 plate appearances remaining this year.
