Kendrys Morales helps Blue Jays topple Braves on Thursday

Toronto Blue Jays designated hitter Kendrys Morales finished 4-for-5 with two RBI's and two runs scored to lead the Blue Jays to a lopsided 9-0 victory over the Atlanta Braves on Thursday.

What It Means:

After the dustup on Wednesday, the Jays' bats woke up and Morales played a large role in the blowout win. His two RBI's came via singles in the third and fourth inning and his four hits were as many as he posted in his last eight games combined.

Morales is slashing .255/.302/.443 with seven homers and 23 RBI's in his first year with the Jays. Our models project him to post a .267 average with 19 homers and 66 RBI's over 449 plate appearances remaining this season.
