Dodgers have Kenta Maeda (hamstring) making rehab start Friday
Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Kenta Maeda (hamstring) will pitch four innings in Friday's rehab start for High-A Rancho Cucamonga.
Maeda was placed on the disabled list after his start on May 10 with a hamstring strain. While there were thoughts, he would be activated when first eligible this weekend, it looks like the right-hander will wait until next week before rejoining the Dodgers' rotation.
Maeda owns a 3.60 SIERA with 40 strikeouts in 39 1/3 innings pitched this season.
