Mark Reynolds sitting out Game 2 of the Rockies' doubleheader
Colorado Rockies first baseman Mark Reynolds is not in the lineup for Game 2 of the Rockies' doubleheader with the Minnesota Twins on Thursday, per Jenny Cavnar of Root Sports Rocky Mountain.
What It Means:
Reynolds went 1-for-2 with two RBI's and two walks in as the DH in Game 1. For Game 2, manager Bud Black has Ian Desmond at first and Carlos Gonzalez as the designated hitter.
Reynolds is batting .319 with a 1.008 OPS, 12 home runs, and 35 RBI's in 161 plate appearances.
