Wednesday's Twins-Rockies game postponed due to weather
Wednesday's game between the Minnesota Twins and Colorado Rockies has been postponed due to rain.
Twins manager Paul Molitor had been hoping that the teams could just wait out a rain delay, but that was not to be. A split doubleheader will be played on Thursday, with the first game scheduled to start at 12:10 and the second to start at 6:10. Ervin Santana and German Marquez, who had been scheduled to start on Wednesday, will face off in Game 1 of that doubleheader. Jose Berrios and Tyler Chatwood are slated for Game 2.
Santana currently holds a 1.50 ERA, 20.3 percent strikeout rate, and 10.4 percent walk rate in 54 innings pitched.
