Lance McCullers goes six strong in Astros' victory
Houston Astros pitcher Lance McCullers dealt six shutout innings on Wednesday as the Astros defeated the Miami Marlins 3-0.
McCullers allowed three hits and two walks while fanning three in the win, which moved him to 4-1 on the season.
Through eight starts this season, McCullers is sporting career-best marks in both ERA (2.98) and SIERA (2.76) while also owning a 29.1 percent strikeout rate, 6.6 percent walk rate and 1.12 WHIP.
