Philadelphia Phillies pitcher Aaron Nola (back) has been cleared to return the rotation for Sunday's matchup with the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Nola hasn't pitched since April 20 while dealing with a lower back strain. He threw 6 1/3 innings of issue-free shutout ball in a rehab start with Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Monday night.
The 23-year-old right-hander has made just three starts in the majors in 2017, posting a 3.84 SIERA, 21.7 percent strikeout rate and 1.63 WHIP through 16 innings.
