The New York Mets are considering skipping pitcher Robbie Gsellman's next start, per Kristie Ackert of the New York Daily News.
The Mets have a pair of off days looming on Thursday and Monday, allowing the club to go with a four-man rotation for the next week or so if they want. Gsellman could pitch out of the bullpen to give the team's overworked relievers a bit of a breather before he starts again.
Gsellman owns a horrendous 7.07 ERA and 1.79 WHIP with five home runs allowed in 35 2/3 innings pitched this season.
