Diamondbacks place A.J. Pollock (groin) on DL

The Arizona Diamondbacks placed outfielder A.J. Pollock on the 10-day disabled list with a right groin strain.

What It Means:

Pollack left Sunday's game with the strained groin, an injury that has plagued him for the past year. No word on how long he will be out but due to his injury history, expect the D-Backs to take it easy with the outfielder. Reymond Fuentes was called up to take Pollack's roster spot and is leading off on Monday.

Pollack was hitting .299 with 26 runs scored and 11 stolen bases in 163 plate appearances in 2017.
