Carlos Gomez (hamstring) headed to Rangers' disabled list
Texas Rangers outfielder Carlos Gomez (hamstring) will be placed on the disabled list.
Gomez left Sunday's game early with a hamstring strain. While the severity is unknown, it is obviously bad enough to require a disabled list stint for the outfielder. Jurickson Profar is one option to be called up and take Gomez's roster spot while he recovers.
Gomez was batting .246 with a .328 wOBA, 4 home runs 13 RBI's, 19 runs scored, and 5 stolen bases in 164 plate appearances this season.
