Paul Goldschmid's two home runs not enough as Arizona falls to Pittsburgh in extras

Arizona Diamondbacks first baseman Paul Goldschmidt blasted a pair of home runs and tallied three RBI's as the Diamondbacks fell 6-4 to the Pittsburgh Pirates in extra-innings on Sunday.

What It Means:

Both of Goldschmidt's home runs came off of Pirates' starter Ivan Nova, with the first getting the Diamondbacks on the board for a 2-1 lead in the bottom of the first inning and the second coming in the bottom of the fifth.

Goldschmidt has had a terrific start to the year from the dish, slashing .314/.450/.584 with a .435 wOBA through 171 plate appearances.
