Jason Kipnis breaks out with two homers, four RBI in Tribe win

Cleveland Indians second baseman Jason Kipnis went 4-for-5 with two home runs, and four RBI's in the Sunday's 8-3 defeat of the Minnesota Twins.

What It Means:

Kipnis homered in his first two at-bats Sunday, hitting a solo shot in the first and a three-run bomb in the third. The All-Star second baseman racked up 10 total bases, nearly doubling his total of 11 he had coming into Sunday. Hopefully, this is a sign of things to come for Kipnis.

Kipnis is still batting a miserable .197 with a .223 wOBA and 25.3 percent strikeout rate in 79 plate appearances this season.
