Colorado Rockies manager Bud Black was asked if outfielder David Dahl (rib) was close to a return and he said: "not so much."
Dahl has been taking dry swings as he works his way back from a stress reaction in his rib but still has long ways to go before a return to action. While he hasn't had any setbacks, the 23-year-old still needs to build strength before being cleared to play in a rehab assignment. Dahl remains without a timetable for return.
numberFire's algorithms project Dahl for a .299 batting average with 4 home runs, 18 RBI's, and 24 runs scored in 174 plate appearances the rest of the season.
