Rangers' Shin-Soo Choo sitting out with back stiffness
Texas Rangers outfielder/designated hitter Shin-Soo Choo is not in the lineup Sunday due to lower back stiffness.
Choo has played the last 15 consecutive games for Texas but will sit out on Sunday with some minor back stiffness. The Rangers consider him day-to-day and have Mike Napoli playing designated hitter with Ryan Rua at first base against the Oakland Atheltics.
Choo is batting .244 with a .344 wOBA in 141 plate appearances this season.
