Yunel Escobar (hamstring) out of the Angels' lineup on Sunday
Los Angeles Angels infielder Yunel Escobar (hamstring) is not in the lineup for Sunday's meeting with the Detroit Tigers.
Hamstring tightness forced Escobar to make an early exit on Saturday, so it's no surprise that he won't be starting today Luis Valbuena will draw the start at third base while C.J. Cron starts at first this afternoon.
Escobar has opened the seasons slashing .272/.324/.411 with a .321 wOBA through 170 plate appearances.
