Addison Russell (shoulder) back in the Cubs' lineup against St. Louis
Chicago Cubs shortstop Addison Russell (shoulder) is back in the Cubs' lineup for Sunday afternoon's game against the St. Louis Cardinals.
Shoulder soreness sidelined Russell for three games, but he came in as a pinch-hitter in two of those games, and he seems to be ready for a full workload today. He'll be starting at shortstop and batting fourth.
Russell has turned in a shaky .225/.296/.357 slash with a .285 wOBA through 142 plate appearances this season.
