Mets' Yoenis Cespedes (hamstring) resumes baseball activities

New York Mets outfielder Yoenis Cespedes (hamstring) has resumed baseball activities.

What It Means:

Cespedes last played on April 27 due to a strained left hamstring. It's unclear whether or not he'll require a rehab assignment first, but he should be activated soon.

Cespedes got off to a hot start before his injury, slashing .270/.373/.619 with a .413 wOBA through 75 plate appearances. That's on pace to set career highs in on-base percentage, slugging percentage and wOBA. He also has six dingers and 10 RBI's.
