Brewers' Jimmy Nelson fans eight in no-decision

Milwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Jimmy Nelson allowed just one run (unearned) over 6 2/3 innings while striking out eight in a no-decision on Thursday.

What It Means:

Nelson escaped trouble all game long as he gave up four walks and had to pitch out of a couple of jams. He was bailed out twice by an inning-ending double-play. Nelson's prospect as a fantasy starter would be better if he could down the free passes. He led the National League with 86 walks last season.

Nelson owns a 3.99 ERA, 1.36 WHIP, and 33 strikeouts in 38 1/3 innings pitched this season.
