Mike Trout (hamstring) returning to the Angels' lineup on Thursday
Los Angeles Angels outfielder Mike Trout (hamstring) is back in the lineup versus the Detroit Tigers on Thursday.
Trout has been out since May 5 with the hamstring strain but will finally be able to play after a four-game absence. The Angels are still cautious, though, as they are having their superstar play designated hitter on Thursday, shifting Albert Pujols to first base with Cameron Maybin manning center field.
Trout owns a 1.146 OPS and .355 batting average through 130 plate appearances in 2017.
