The Colorado Rockies will start pitcher Jeff Hoffman on Thursday instead of Tyler Anderson versus the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Anderson is getting bumped back to Saturday as the Rockies shift their rotation around after the doubleheader on Tuesday. Hoffman will be making his first start of the year and second appearance. He threw 1 1/3 innings in Game 2 of the doubleheader.
Hoffman made six starts in Triple-A this season, holding a 3.71 ERA, 1.12 WHIP, and 29 strikeouts in 34 innings pitched.
