Cotton has really struggled this season, posting a 5.68 ERA, 4.47 SIERA and 1.53 WHIP while going 3-4 through seven starts. Sean Manaea (shoulder) looked good in his most recent rehab outing, and will likely come off the disabled list soon to take Cotton's place in the A's rotation.
