Tigers think Ian Kinsler (hamstring) will play on Thursday

Detroit Tigers manager Brad Ausmus said second baseman Ian Kinsler (hamstring) will "probably be ready to go" on Thursday.

What It Means:

Kinsler has not played in a game since May 3rd with a left hamstring strain, but he has warmed up prior to each of the Tigers' last two games, so it appears he is about ready to return to the lineup.

Kinsler has gone just 20-of-97 (.206) with his bat in 2017, giving him by far the lowest average of any of his 12 years in the majors. His current career low is .253, set back in 2009 while with the Texas Rangers.
