Rays without Steven Souza (thumb) again on Thursday
Tampa Bay Rays outfielder Steven Souza (thumb) is once again out of the lineup on Thursday.
What It Means:
Souza injured his thumb on Monday night and he's been out of the lineup since then, making this the third start he will miss. Peter Bourjos will get the nod in right field and bat ninth on Thursday.
Souza has been off to a good start this season, slashing .277/.377/.445 with a .361 wOBA through 139 plate appearances.
