Boston's Hanley Ramirez (trapezius) out on Thursday
Boston Red Sox first baseman Hanley Ramirez (trapezius) is not in the starting lineup for Thursday afternoon's road clash with the Milwaukee Brewers.
Ramirez started in the field for the first time this season on Wednesday, but he was forced to make an early exit from that game because of muscle spasms in his right trapezius. Mitch Moreland will draw the start at first base and bat fifth on Thursday.
It has been a quiet start to the season by Ramirez's standards, slashing .257/.345/.429 with a .339 wOBA through 119 plate appearances.
