Mets' Asdrubal Cabrera (thumb) remains out against the Giants
New York Mets shortstop Asdrubal Cabrera (thumb) is still out of the starting lineup on Wednesday as the Mets take on the San Francisco Giants.
While not in the starting lineup, Cabrera has been available for pinch-hitting duties over the past two games, so it looks like it shouldn't be too much longer before he returns to the starting lineup. Jose Reyes will start at shortstop in his place and bat leadoff on Wednesday.
Cabrera has hit for a .264/.339/.387 slash with a .322 wOBA through 118 plate appearances this season.
