Aaron Sanchez (finger) to return to Blue Jays' rotation Sunday
Toronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Aaron Sanchez (finger) threw 60 pitches in an extended bullpen session Tuesday.
Sanchez should be cleared to return Sunday versus the Seattle Mariners as long as everything goes well on Wednesday. He's been on the disabled list since May 1 due to a split nail on his right middle finger.
Sanchez has a 4.05 ERA, 1.20 WHIP and 18.2 strikeout rate across 13 1/3 innings pitched this season. He's 0-1 through three starts.
