Joe Mauer leading off for the Twins on Tuesday
The Minnesota Twins have first baseman Joe Mauer batting leading off versus the Chicago White Sox on Tuesday.
Mauer has batted in the two, three, or four-spot in the order every game he has started this season and will be making his first leadoff appearance since May 18 of 2016. The extra at-bats is a modest boost to his fantasy value if the move sticks.
Mauer is batting .240 while walking a career-low 7.6 percent of the time in 105 plate appearances this season.
