Asdrubal Cabrera (thumb) sitting out again on Tuesday for the Mets
New York Mets shortstop Asdrubal Cabrera (thumb) is out of the lineup again on Tuesday.
Cabrera was able to pinch hit on Monday but will be out of the lineup for the third consecutive day on Tuesday. His thumb is improving but is clearly not at 100 percent yet. Jose Reyes will play at short with Wilmer Flores manning the hot corner again.
Cabrera owns a wOBA of .317 with 20 runs scored through 117 plate appearances this season.
