Philadelphia Phillies pitcher Aaron Nola (back) will make a minor league rehab start with Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Wednesday.
Nola had his MRI come back clean and made it through a bullpen session on Sunday. If things go well, he may be able to rejoin the Phillies' rotation after only one rehab start.
Nola has made just three big league starts so far in 2017, posting a 3.84 SIERA, 21.7 percent strikeout rate and 1.63 WHIP through 16 innings pitched.
