Royals' Eric Hosmer has a big day in win over Tampa Bay
Kansas City Royals first baseman Eric Hosmer went 3-for-5 from the dish on Monday, stealing two bases and scoring twice in a 7-3 win over the Tampa Bay Rays.
It was something of a surprising stat-line for Hosmer, who swiped only five bags in 2016 and hadn't recorded any steals in 2017 until last night. He has gone 13-of-33, scoring six runs and driving in seven RBI's through eight games in May.
Hosmer has slashed .282/.341/.402 with a .325 wOBA through 129 plate appearances on the season.
