X-rays come back clean for Angels' Andrelton Simmons' thumb, hand
Los Angeles Angels shortstop Andrelton Simmons' X-rays for his right thumb and left hand came back negative.
What It Means:
The Angels are calling Simmons day-to-day. He was hit on his right thumb by a pitch on Monday that also deflected and hit his left hand.
Simmons is slashing .254/.331/.347 across 133 plate appearances this season with three home runs, 12 RBI's and two stolen bases.
