Rays' Matt Duffy (Achilles) ready for rehab games
Tampa Bay Rays infielder Matt Duffy (Achilles) will begin a rehab assignment at High-A Charlotte on Tuesday.
Duffy believes he'll be ready to make his season debut in about two weeks. Tim Beckham has been handling things at shortstop for Tampa Bay.
As of now, numberFire's models project Duffy to record a .268 batting average across 423 plate appearances this season while stealing eight bases and driving in 36 scores.
