Seung Hwan Oh nails down save for Cardinals in bounce-back outing

St. Louis Cardinals closer Seung Hwan Oh worked a perfect ninth inning Saturday to nail the save in a 5-3 win over the Atlanta Braves.

What It Means:

Oh allowed three runs in a loss to the Milwaukee Brewers on May 1, but he was called on to protect a two-run lead Saturday and did so with no issue. Trevor Rosenthal, who would be Oh's competition for the closer job, worked the eighth inning.

Oh still owns a respectable 3.68 ERA with 12 strikeouts in 14 2/3 innings of work. Our algorithms project The Final Boss for 60 more innings, with 25 saves, a 29.1 percent strikeout rate, and 6.4 percent walk rate this season.
