Cardinals' Lance Lynn blanks Braves over six innings

St. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher Lance Lynn fired six scoreless frames in a 10-0 victory over the Atlanta Braves on Friday.

What It Means:

Lynn cruised with the big lead, allowing just four hits on the night while striking out six. The 29-year-old is still making his return from Tommy John surgery, but he has allowed one earned run or fewer in four straight starts and now ranks third in the National League with a 2.04 ERA.

Our models project Lynn to maintain a 3.78 ERA, 20.4 percent strikeout rate, 8.7 percent strikeout rate, and 11 more wins over 152 2/3 innings pitched to finish out 2017.
