Orioles' Zach Britton (forearm) heads for another MRI

Baltimore Orioles reliever Zach Britton is scheduled to undergo another MRI exam as he continues to deal with a forearm issue.

What It Means:

Britton returned from the disabled list on Tuesday but didn't look like himself in either of his first two outings and has now been shut down again. Brad Brach will continue to serve as the O's ninth-inning man in his absence. Look for an update on Britton's status on Saturday.

Our algorithms project Britton for a 2.68 ERA, 18 saves, a 24.3 percent strikeout rate, and 7.9 percent walk rate in 37 more innings pitched the rest of the way.
