Mets place Travis d'Arnaud (wrist) on 10-day disabled list
The New York Mets have placed catcher Travis d'Arnaud on the 10-day disabled list, retroactive to May 3, with a right wrist bone bruise.
d'Arnaud hurt the wrist a couple of weeks ago but re-aggravated the injury this week. He will have a splint put on his wrist and rest for at least one week. The catcher is not expected to be ready to return when first eligible. Rene Rivera and Kevin Plawecki will be behind the plate in his absence.
d'Arnaud is batting .203/.288/.475 with 4 home runs, 16 RBI's, and 10 runs scored in 66 plate appearances this season.
