Rays giving Brad Miller Friday night off
Tampa Bay Rays second baseman Brad Miller is not in the lineup on Friday versus the Toronto Blue Jays.
Toronto is starting southpaw Fransico Liriano and the Rays are trying to get as many right-handed bats into the lineup as possible. Miller will get the night off with Daniel Robertson filling in at second base and batting seventh on Friday.
Miller is slashing .204/.366/.327 this season with 10 RBI's and 16 runs scored while hitting one dinger in 123 plate appearances.
