New York Yankees outfielder Jacoby Ellsbury (elbow) could return to the lineup as soon as Saturday.
This contradicts a previous report that Ellsbury didn't travel with the team to Chicago for a weekend series with the Cubs. He hasn't played since suffering a bruised nerve in his elbow this past Tuesday.
Through 95 plate appearances in 2017, Ellsbury is slashing .282/.344/.412 with three home runs, nine RBI's and seven stolen bases.
