Jacoby Ellsbury (elbow) doesn't travel with Yankees to Wrigley
New York Yankees outfielder Jacoby Ellsbury (elbow) didn't travel with the club for their weekend series with the Chicago Cubs.
Ellsbury is expected to be placed on the 10-day disabled list with a bruised nerve in his left elbow. Gary Sanchez (biceps) will likely take his spot on the active roster.
Through 95 plate appearances in 2017, Ellsbury is slashing .282/.344/.412 with three home runs, nine RBI's and seven stolen bases.
